Achieving the cottagecore color palette isn’t hard to do, but it is very specific. Anything that doesn’t add to the rustic charm should be removed. Here are a few characteristics of the cottagecore style in the color palette:

1. Base Tones
1. Base tones should be neutral so that you can add a variety of accent colors on top of it. Instead of gray, think cream colors.

1. You can choose complimentary colors, just make sure they’re muted and not saturated to capture that old cottage look.

1. If it doesn’t whisper rustic getaway, then it’s time to remove. Anything neon, highly saturated, or stark whites don’t help to achieve cottagecore.
